It’s summer(!) and therefore time for lemonade. I LOVE homemade lemonade, especially served in my favourite flamingo bottle for friends who bring cake (cake and lemonade parties are totally a thing right? Right guys? I’m going to say yes).
- 6 lemons
- 2 limes
- 200g sugar
- Using a vegetable peeler, remove the zest from 6 lemons and 2 limes and put in a large jug. Juice all the lemons and limes into the jug and add 200g sugar. Pour over 1.5 litres hot water and stir. Cover, leave to cool, then chill. Sieve into a serving jug. Pour over ice to serve and add extra slices of lemon and lime.
Well that was easy…
